Questions
Mannington Adura Flooring FAQ
Is Mannington Adura waterproof?
Mannington lists its Adura styles as waterproof. Max and Apex use a HydroLoc waterproof core. A leak can still trap water under any floor. Fix leaks and damp slabs first.
How does buying Mannington Adura from Harmony work?
One person at Harmony Flooring handles your project from the first sample to the final walkthrough. You pick the floor at our Madison showroom or during a free in-home visit. We measure, order and schedule. Trusted local installers do the work and your Harmony contact stays on the job until it’s done.
What is the difference between Adura Max and Adura Rigid?
Max has a WPC core with an attached pad. It feels softer and quieter. Rigid has a denser SPC core. It resists dents and handles wide temperature swings.
What is Adura Apex?
Apex is the most style-forward Adura line. It adds long and wide planks plus variable widths and hexagon tiles. The styles we looked at use a HydroLoc WPC core.
Can Adura go in a basement?
Yes. A waterproof Adura plank is a common basement pick. We still check the slab for moisture first. A dry and flat slab gives the best result.
Does Adura need to acclimate?
Mannington says Adura Rigid doesn’t need to acclimate. Other lines may have different steps. Follow the instructions for your exact style.
How do I clean and care for Mannington Adura?
Sweep or vacuum often to pick up grit. Damp mop with a cleaner made for vinyl floors. Many Adura styles are steam mop approved, so check the spec for yours. Skip wax and harsh cleaners. Put felt pads under chair and table legs.
