Harmony Flooring has one store, on South Stoughton Road in Madison, and we’ve sold and installed floors from it since 2009. We don’t have branches. We have a showroom, a van full of samples, and installers we’ve worked with for years.
How Far We Go
Our working rule is about 45 minutes from the Capitol. That covers all of Dane County and the edges of the counties around it. Inside that ring the first visit is free: we come to your house, measure, check the subfloor and go through samples at your kitchen table. Outside it, call anyway. If the job makes sense for both of us, we’ll come out.

What Changes Town to Town
The floor doesn’t change much. The houses do. A 1950s Monona ranch with oak under the carpet is a different job from a ten-year-old Sun Prairie two-story with worn builder carpet, or a hundred-year-old Stoughton foursquare with a wavy subfloor. Lake houses in Middleton and McFarland bring moisture into it. New subdivisions in Verona and Waunakee bring open floor plans. That’s what the town pages are about.

Do you charge for the in-home visit outside Madison?
No. Inside about 45 minutes of the Capitol the visit is free. We measure, check the subfloor and bring samples. Further out, call and we’ll tell you up front.
Do you install everywhere you sell?
Yes. The same local installers and the same coordinator handle every town we serve. The person who measures your house is the person who schedules the install and checks the finished work.
I’m between two towns. Which page should I read?
Either one, or neither. The pages are about the kind of houses in each town, not borders. If you’re not sure which fits, call and describe the house.
