Our Story

CS4 Flooring began in Madison, Wisconsin, as a small, family-run business led by Lee and Nancy Esser. What started as a local flooring company quickly grew into a trusted name across south-central Wisconsin. Lee built the business on integrity, personal service, and craftsmanship, earning the loyalty of countless homeowners, contractors, and commercial clients over sixteen years.

Under Lee’s leadership, CS4 became known for its expertise in both residential and commercial flooring, handling everything from luxury vinyl and carpet to tile and specialty surfaces. The company built strong relationships with builders, campuses, and local organizations that valued consistent quality and reliability.

In 2024, the Sill family purchased CS4 Flooring to carry forward that legacy. The Sills, already known for their success with Budget Blinds franchises across the Midwest, saw an opportunity to bring new energy, technology, and customer experience to a well-established local brand.

The business was rebranded to Harmony Flooring, a name that represents the blend of old and new. Harmony Flooring honors what Lee and Nancy created while expanding its vision to include modern design tools, enhanced communication, and a focus on delivering a complete flooring experience from start to finish.

Today, Harmony Flooring continues to serve the Madison area with the same local roots, the same commitment to quality, and a refreshed mission of Covering Every Detail.
