Our Story
Harmony Flooring started as CS4 Flooring, a family-run Madison store led by Lee and Nancy Esser. Lee built it on honest work and personal service. Homeowners, builders and businesses across south-central Wisconsin kept coming back.
In 2024, the Sill family bought the business and renamed it Harmony Flooring. The Sills also own Budget Blinds franchises across the Midwest, so they know local service.
Lee is still here. If you worked with him before, you can still work with him today. We kept what worked and added better design tools, clearer communication and one person who runs your project from start to finish.
We bought this business because it already did things the right way. Lee had earned a lot of trust in Madison. We did not want to change that. We wanted to build on it.
Our promise is simple. One person handles your project. You get a written price before anything is ordered. We stand behind the work.

Is Harmony Flooring locally owned?
Yes. Harmony Flooring is family-owned by the Sills. Our showroom is at 2125 S. Stoughton Rd in Madison. The store has served the Madison area since 2009 and was called CS4 Flooring until 2024.
Is Lee still at Harmony Flooring?
Yes. Lee is still part of the team. If you worked with him at CS4 Flooring, you can still work with him today.
Who installs my floor?
Trusted local installers we have worked with for years. Your Harmony coordinator schedules every step and checks the finished floor.
Do you do commercial flooring?
Yes. We work with apartments and property managers, schools, healthcare, offices, retail and government. We handle bids, spec work and phased jobs in occupied buildings.
