The Showroom Is About 20 Minutes From Middleton
2125 S. Stoughton Rd, Madison, WI 53716. Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Evening and weekend appointments available on request.
Middleton is on the northwest side, across town from our showroom. Take the Beltline west to University Avenue and you’re there in about 20 minutes, a little more at rush hour. Most Middleton customers have us come to them first. The showroom visit comes later, once the choice is down to two or three floors.
What We See in Middleton Houses
Middleton has more established homes than any other town we serve. The Meadows, Parkside Heights, Northlake and Foxridge are full of 1960s to 1980s ranches and two-stories with solid bones. Many still have the original oak under the carpet. Others have hardwood that’s been sanded a few times and is ready for something new. We look before we quote.
Along Lake Mendota and around Pheasant Branch, the houses face water and sand. Mudrooms and lower levels near the lake want tile or vinyl plank. Main floors can still take hardwood, but we’ll steer you to engineered in a house with a damp lower level.
Middleton Hills, Redtail Ridge, Bishops Bay and Tumbledown Farm are the newer side. Middleton Hills homes from the late 90s and 2000s are hitting the age where the first floors wear out. Bishops Bay and Redtail Ridge are still being built, and some owners want to swap the builder’s picks before they even move in.
Condos are a big part of Middleton too: Middleton Conservancy, Ridges of Pheasant Branch, Stonefield, Century Harbor and more. Most associations require a sound-rated underlayment and set hours for work. Tell us the building and we’ll handle the paperwork side.
Middleton is one school district, Middleton-Cross Plains, and the business side runs along University Avenue, Pleasant View Road and the Beltline. Offices, clinics and labs go through our commercial side.
How a Middleton Project Goes
Call, text or email and tell us about the house. We come out, measure, check the subfloor and the lower level for moisture, and go through samples with you. You get one written price before anything is ordered.
Local installers we’ve trusted for years do the work. One Harmony coordinator schedules tear-out, haul-away, furniture, install and cleanup, then checks the finished floor. If your floor was damaged by water, we’ll talk to your insurance adjuster and give them what they need.
Want to see a floor in your own living room before you decide? Try our online visualizer with a photo of the room, then borrow the samples that made the cut.

Middleton Flooring Questions
Straight answers. See all our FAQs, or call and ask.
Do you come out to Middleton for the in-home visit?
Yes, and it’s free. Most Middleton projects start at your house, not the showroom. We measure, check the subfloor and bring samples.
How far is Harmony Flooring from Middleton?
About 20 minutes. We’re at 2125 S. Stoughton Rd on Madison’s east side. Beltline east, exit at Stoughton Road. Open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Evening and weekend appointments available on request.
Is hardwood a good idea in a house near Lake Mendota?
On the main floor, yes, and we usually recommend engineered hardwood there. It stays flatter when the humidity swings. Lower levels near the lake should be vinyl plank or tile.
Do you work in Middleton condos?
Yes. Middleton Conservancy, Ridges of Pheasant Branch, Stonefield, Century Harbor and the rest. We use sound-rated underlayment where the association requires it and work inside the building’s hours.
My floor was damaged by a leak. Do you work with insurance?
Yes. We’ll talk to your insurance adjuster and give them the measurements and quote they need. You handle the claim itself.
Do you do commercial flooring in Middleton?
Yes. Offices, clinics, labs and retail along University Avenue, Pleasant View Road and the Beltline. Phased work so occupied buildings keep running. See our commercial flooring page.
