How the Floor Finder Works

The Floor Finder asks up to 7 quick questions about your home. Which rooms you are redoing, who lives there, what matters most, and the look you like. Every choice has a photo, so you answer each question with one tap. It takes about a minute.

At the end you get a plan with our pick for each room. When two floors are a close fit, you see both, with a short line on when to pick each one. You can add more rooms, save your plan, or send it to us.

What the Picks Are Based On

Each pick starts with how a floor holds up in that room. Then we weigh what homeowners in the Midwest actually buy. Carpet still leads in bedrooms. Tile leads in bathrooms. Vinyl plank is the most common pick for kitchens, main floors and basements. Your answers about kids, pets, a damp basement and budget move the pick from there.

The pick is a starting point, not a quote. Samples, your rooms and your budget decide the final floor.

Floor Finder Questions

Is the Floor Finder free?

Yes. It is free and takes about a minute. You only share your name and contact details if you choose to send your plan to us.

Can I plan more than one room?

Yes. Start with one room, then add another room from your plan. Each room gets its own pick.

What happens after I send my plan?

Someone from Harmony Flooring reaches out to talk it through and set up a showroom visit, a free in-home visit, or a call, whichever you picked. One person handles your project from there.

Do I have to buy the floor it picks?

No. The pick is a starting point. We show you samples side by side, and you choose the floor that fits your home and budget.
